No building or other structure shall be erected, moved, added to or structurally altered without a building permit issued by the Office of the Building Inspector.

1. All building permits must meet the requirements of the Wartrace Zoning Ordinance and the Subdivision Regulations.

2. All building permit fees must be paid before the Building Permit is issued.

3. Plans must include plot/site plan drawn to scale, depicting the zoning classification and showing the following information:

   • The plot/site plan of any residential building or other structure of residential activity with four dwelling units or less on a zone lot shall indicate:

     • The actual shape, location, and dimensions of the lot;

     • The shape, size, and location of all buildings or other structures to be erected, altered or moved, and of any building or other structure already on the lot;

     • The existing and intended use of the lot and of all such building or other structure upon it, including the number of dwelling units, the building is intended to accommodate;

     • Such other information concerning the lot of adjoining lots as may be essential for determining whether the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance are being observed.

   • All other non-residential buildings, structures and activities shall indicate:

     • The actual shape, location and dimensions of the lot;

     • The shape, size and location of all buildings or other structures to be erected, altered or moved, and of any building or other structure already on the lot.
